Wednesday, May 5, at noon. History Is Lunch: Buildings of Mississippi.  As part of the department's #HistoryIsLunch series, Jennifer Baughn will present "Buildings of Mississippi." The event will be held in the Craig H. Neilsen Auditorium of the Two Mississippi Museums under COVID-19 safety guidelines and will also stream live from the MDAH Facebook page. 

Thursday, May 6, 67 p.m. Under the Light: The History of Jim Crow Propaganda. Special guest Phoenix Savage of Tougaloo College will join us for a discussion on the impact of Jim Crow propaganda in the South. The event will be held in the Craig H. Neilsen Auditorium of the Two Mississippi Museums under COVID-19 safety guidelines and will also stream live from the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum Facebook page. 

Sunday, May 9, 15 p.m. Free Sundays at the Two Mississippi Museums. Admission to the Museum of Mississippi History and the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum is free.
